عَنْ سَهْلِ بَْنِ سَعْدٍ رضي الله عنه قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم : أَنَا وَكَافِلُ الْيَتِيمِ فِى الْجَنَّةِ هكَذَ، وَأَشَارَ بِالسَّبَّابَةِ وَالْوُسطَى وَفَرَّجَ بَيْنَهُمَا شَيْئاً

From Sahl bin Sa’ad (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: “The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said: “I and the one who looks after an orphan will be like this in Paradise,” showing his middle and index fingers and separating them.” [Sahih al-Bukhari].

Dr. Zakir Hussain was devoted to the cause of orphans and it was Dr. Zakir Saheb who gave the name "BACHCHON KA GHAR" instead of Yateemkhana (orphanage) so that the orphan children do not feel let down and develop a sense of belonging to this Dream Home. The Bachchon ka Ghar at present has 90 boys and 50 girls whose basic needs such as boarding, lodging, clothing, health and education is taking care of by the institution. Even after completion of school education expenses of college / university education and hostel expenses are borne by Bachchon ka Ghar.

Bachchon ka Ghar is run by a Society which is Registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 with Government of Delhi. So we need your support and co-operation. We are doing our best to help more orphan children but our resources are limited and we need your support and help to protect them. When you donate you will be eligible for tax exemption U/s 80G of Income Tax Act. Bachchon ka Ghar (BKG) has been privileged to get kind co-operation and donations from kind hearted people from all walks of life. And we hope to get same love & affection for orphan children from you.

Bachchon ka Ghar has been established to bring Sunshine into the lives of orphan children by providing excellent homely atmosphere, religious, moral and academic education being primary necessity of life. All this is being done through comprehensive planning in education, livelihood, sports and other activities. Our aim is to make the orphan child educationally and economically self reliant to teach them to lead a life of a righteous person as shown to us by Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
